The yarn on this page was spun from fiber of Corriedale sheep. Another old cross-breed, brought to the United States in 1914. Corriedale wool has a great luster and hand, softening as you knit. These skeins are the natural color of the animal (in this case off-white).

100% Corriedale wool, 2 ply worsted, 210 yards, 4 oz.

Wellspring Farm is located in Burnsville in western North Carolina is a fiber animal farm raising llamas, Jacob Sheep, Merino, Tunis and Tunis/corriedale  sheep for their fiber.  Products produced on the farm include rovings, yarns and felted, knit and crocheted fiber items and breeding stock.  They offer farm tours, workshops, and lessons in spinning and fiber arts.
