This is an incredible yarn for doing lace work. The 50/50 blend of merino wool and silk makes it slick and shiny, but not too drapey. It has plenty of wool memory, so you don't have to worry about overblocking it. We carried this versatile lace-weight yarn for many years and are happy to welcome it back. At 798 yards per skein, you get plenty of value. For a solid knit, work on US 2 needles for 30 sts per 4 inches. (It's a great yarn for soft solid knits at a tight gauge, too, if you're not a fan of lace knitting!)
