Viola the Alpaca
Spun from 100% Huacya Alpaca; yards are approximate based on weight of each skein.
Ever Thanks Farm is in Leicester, NC. Farmer Linda Brier takes great pride in her sweet flock of alpacas, many of whom we have noticed are named for characters in Shakespeare plays (Orsino, Viola, Olivia, etc.). Ever Thanks yarn comes in the natural color of a singular extremely soft alpaca. Most yarn is a blend of animals because you need a lot of fiber for yarn. But Linda is committed to small batch yarn creation and having each skein proudly have the picture of the singular animal it came from. Being singular batch, though, means that each skein is slightly different in weight which means we have lots of yarn that is the same color, same "dyelot" - since it's from the same animal, but slightly different lengths or ounces of yarn.
